Jane Underwood Poetry Prize
Open to submissions each fall, the annual Jane Underwood Poetry Prize was established to celebrate and memorialize Jane Underwood, founder and long-time director of The Writing Salon.
Access Program
Launched in 2021, our Access Program has given dozens of students access to our classes. The program covers up to 50% of the tuition fee for students with both financial need and a desire to improve as writers.
Consulting
We connect writers with Writing Salon teachers who offer 1:1 editing, coaching, and MFA guidance services. On request, our teachers also lead writing sessions to small groups at their home and workplace.
